Privacy policy

• Account details: name, email, optional phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), optional business details.
• Your ads and messages: content, photos (we remove photo location metadata), and your chosen location.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed — for security, fraud prevention and statistics.
• Cookies: essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language; analytics cookies only if you accept them.

To run the marketplace, show your ads, deliver messages and notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, answer support requests and improve the service.

Your public profile shows your name, member-since date and your live ads. Your email is never shown. Your phone number is shown only if you choose to show it. Your location is shown at the precision you choose.

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run JordanDeals (hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by Jordanian law.

We keep data while your account is active. You can download your data or delete your account from My account → Your data. Some records (e.g. payments) are kept as long as the law requires.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you think your account was compromised.
